Una Childers is a Texas Medical Board–certified Physician Associate with over 15 years of dedicated experience in pediatric care, specializing in developmental and behavioral pediatrics. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science in 2003, with a Minor in Psychology, from Texas A&M University in College Station, and completed her Master of Physician Assistant Studies at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.

As founder of Developing Minds Pediatric Consultants PLLC, PA Childers launched the practice to expand access to high-quality, specialized pediatric services across Texas. Drawing on her clinical expertise, she collaborates closely with families and multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive evaluations, diagnose conditions such as Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD, and guide individualized treatment plans tailored to each child’s needs.

PA Childers brings a uniquely empathetic perspective to her work, committed to making families feel supported and understood throughout their care journey. Whether through telemedicine visits or coordinating with local pediatricians and specialists, she maintains a warm, approachable style that puts families at ease.

Outside of her professional life, PA Childers spends quality time with her husband and three children in Boerne, Texas. She enjoys baking for family and friends, traveling, and volunteering with local organizations. She is a strong advocate for Physician Associates and working mothers in medicine.
